Second Entry, Over a year later! Currently I'm a junior in college, in the middle of my semester abroad in Ireland.  Culture is definitely what I wanted, and it's been delivered (mostly in the form of drinking copious amounts of Smithwicks). Even so, I feel a growing yearning to go back to the US and resume my stable and interconnected life with my friends and family.  It's proven to me that it takes a strong will to go abroad (esp. if it's across an ocean) and not feel a yearning for your home country, friends and family.  I'm not in tears with homesickness, but it's definitely been on my mind a lot more than I anticipated.  Best advantage

First Entry, here goes: I'm going back to college in 10 days and I'm starting to reflect on my summer so far.  I think I've done enough: I visited my buddy in NYC, Saw a friend from school, did a lot of swimming, did my first backflip, played a limited amount of video games, photoshopped, read books for recreation, explored a LOT of music, played a LOT of drums and watched a LOT of movies, and watched a lot of TED talks.
